Adolf Hitler's Autobahn Rasthaus Chiemsee's fork, a really nice piece of Nazi Germany Religia, This extremely RARE silver fork, was brought back by a US veteran. This silver piece of cutlery was used for special occasions at the Rasthaus Chiemsee in the late 30's, Hitler's most favourite place to be during his travel to his Bergteshofen. Chiemsee is a large resort lake in southern Bavaria, and was chosen by Adolf Hitler to be the site of the first Rest House of the Autobahn system. One of the earliest of Hitler's Autobahns was the route between Munich and Salzburg, since Hitler traveled this way often en route to his home on the Obersalzberg. Hitler wanted the best for this Autobahn, including a route that passed by the shore of Chiemsee lake. This required quite a bit of engineering work, as the planners wished to route the highway closer to the mountains where the land was firmer, and the lakeside route required additional roadbed preparation. However, Hitler's wishes were fulfilled, allowing a large Rasthaus complex to be built directly on the shore of the lake, which opened in 1938. This complex served its function for only a few years, before being used as a hospital during World War II.

1 in a life time French Antique Helmet For Sale !!! This is Incredible! In a MINT and MUSEUM condition is this French Helmet: Casque de La Garde Nationale A Cheval, Modele 1815 !!! Helmet of the Horse Riding French National Garde M 1815. Last time a helmet like this was for sale was in France in 2003, this particular helmet was in a worse shape as ours. The Bombe is in MUSEUM condition, extemely RARE. The Bandeau in the front is market with the Fleur de Lys, surrounded with two palm leaves, above that the Royal French Crown. Cimier (Top) is complete and in a wonderful condition, parts are Silver and GOLD plated!, the Jugulaires (side) in the shape of a sun, and decorated in the center with another Fleur de Lys. The White / Cream Plume on the side is an original and very hard to find in this conition, making this helmet as complete as you can get it. Inner liner Fantastic good condition!. This is the BEST oportunity to buy an extremely RARE and ORIGINAL helmet as this, this is realy very hard to find ! A Frame or Combat Assault Pack (Gurtbandtragegerüst) We were lucky enough to buy 2 of these Assault Frame's. The assault pack was used to carry the tent quarter and mess tins. Furthermore, a bag (Combat Assault Pack) which contained small items such as the rifle cleaning kit, food items etc. was an integral part of the A-frame Very good condition and Maker marked and dated. An originally signed print of Group Captain Leonard Cheshire, Signed by Cheshire himself AND the artist Group Captain Geoffrey Leonard Cheshire, Baron Cheshire, VC, OM, DSO and Two Bars, DFC (7 September 1917 – 31 July 1992) was a highly decorated British RAF pilot during the Second World War. Among the honours he received as a bomber pilot is the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. After the war, he became a charity worker, setting up the Leonard Cheshire Disability as well as other philanthropic organisations. After the outbreak of the Second World War, Cheshire applied for a commission in the Royal Air Force and was initially posted in June 1940 to 102 Squadron, flying Armstrong Whitworth Whitley medium bombers, from RAF Driffield. In November 1940, he was awarded the DSO for flying his badly-damaged bomber back to base. In January 1941, he completed his tour of operations, but then volunteered straight away for a second tour. He was posted to 35 Squadron with the brand new Handley Page Halifax, and completed his second tour early in 1942, by now a Squadron Leader. August 1942 saw a return to operations as CO of No. 76 Squadron RAF. The squadron had recently suffered high losses operating the Halifax, and Cheshire immediately tackled the low morale of the unit by ordering an improvement in the performance of the squadron aircraft by removing the mid-upper and nose gun turrets along with exhaust covers and other weighty non-essential equipment. This allowed the bombers to fly higher and faster. Losses soon fell and morale rose accordingly. In 1943 Cheshire published an account of his first tour of operations in his book "Bomber Pilot" which tells of his posting to RAF Driffield and tells the story of flying his badly-damaged bomber ("N for Nuts") back to base. In the book he fails to mention being awarded the DSO for this, but does describe the bravery of a badly burnt member of his crew. Cheshire became Station Officer Commanding RAF Marston Moor in March as the youngest Group Captain in the RAF, though the job was never to his liking and he pushed for a return to an operational command. These efforts paid off with a posting to succeed Wing Commander Guy Gibson as commander of the legendary 617 "Dambusters" Squadron in September 1943. While with 617, Cheshire helped pioneer a new method of marking enemy targets for Bomber Command's 5 Group, flying in at a very low level in the face of strong defences, using first, the versatile Mosquito, then a "borrowed" P-51 Mustang fighter. This development work was the subject of some severe intraservice politics; Cheshire was encouraged by his 5 Group Commander Air Vice-Marshal Ralph Cochrane, although the 8 Group Pathfinder AOC Air Vice-Marshal Don Bennett saw this work as impinging on the responsibilities of his own command. Cheshire was nearing the end of his fourth tour of duty in July 1944, having completed a total of 102 missions, when he was awarded the Victoria Cross. He was the only one of the 32 VC airmen to win the medal for an extended period of sustained courage and outstanding effort, rather than a single act of valour. His citation noted: In four years of fighting against the bitterest opposition he maintained a standard of outstanding personal achievement, his successful operations being the result of careful planning, brilliant execution and supreme contempt for danger – for example, on one occasion he flew his P-51 Mustang in slow 'figures of eight' above a target obscured by low cloud, to act as a bomb-aiming mark for his squadron. Cheshire displayed the courage and determination of an exceptional leader. It also noted a raid in which he had marked a target, flying a Mosquito at low level against "withering fire". One of Cheshire's missions was to use new using 5,400 kilograms (12,000 lb) "Tallboy" deep-penetration bombs to destroy V3 long-range cannons located in underground bunkers near Mimoyecques in the Pas-de-Calais region of northern France. These were powerful guns able to fire a 500 lb shell into London every minute. They were protected by a concrete layer. The raid was planned so the bombs hit the ground next to the concrete to destroy the guns from underneath. Although considered successful at the time, later evaluations confirmed that the raids were largely ineffectual. Cheshire was, in his day, both the youngest Group Captain in the service and, following his VC, the most decorated Only 1000 of these prints were produced, this one is numbered 140/1000

Léon DegrelleIt was the ideology of the Rexist Party (Parti Rexiste), officially called Christus Rex, founded in 1930 by Léon Degrelle, a Walloon. The name was derived from the Roman Catholic social teachings concerning Christus Rex, and it was also the title of a conservative Catholic journal. The ideology of Rexism called for the moral renewal of Belgian society in conformity with the teachings of the Church, by forming a corporatist society, and abolishing democracy.[1] The Rexist movement attracted support mostly among the Walloons; it had a counterpart on the Flemish side in the Vlaamsch Nationaal Verbond, or VNV. It also faced competition from the likes of Paul Hoornaert's National Legion.

Catch of the Day ! 2 M24 Stick Handgrenades and 2 M39 Egg hand grenades I picked these up recently in Ostend at the Belgium coast, these were found back in 1944 by a 12 year old boy in the hotel of his parents which was used by the German Kriegsmarine. It was a amazing found, but it gave me a little headache since they were still usable. Now this is all settled by now, so we can ship them over safely! The stocks and heads are with matching numbers!, both of them have the same batch numbers from May 1940, invasion of Belgium!. many WaA markings. On the wooden stock's you can still see traces of the painture what the rack of the ammuniton case left there. The egg's still have all their original paint still present with their white WaA marking present!!!. Please enjoy the picture hereunder!

Catch of the Day ! A lot of 4 Vickers M1927 Irish Free State Helmets Dear Collectors, Investors, please note: The Vickers Model 1927 Irish Free State Helmet is one of the most rare helmet on the planet. Recently a few hundred of these helmets were found and brought on the market, we were lucky enough to buy 4 of them. It isn’t going to take long before the price for these helmets will rise tremendously. A total of 10.021 helmets were produced for an army of 10.000 man, many of these helmets cracked and became unserviceable during their period of use and more than half of the production was bulldozed into the ground in the 1970’s. So we are talking about a couple of thousand helmets left in the world (at the most). It will be far easier to get your hands on a double decal SS or fallschirmjager helmet in the future than one of these. The helmets we have, all shells are marked with V Ltd for Vickers Limited, with Code and numbered (under 5.000) All Inner liners are stamped by the manufacturer “T.Smith and Sons Dublin” “1927”. The final mark to be found on the helmets are the ink stamping on each of the liner pads (which are stuffed up with horse hair), stamped with ink “Hilton Bros. 27” over a large number “3”. All 4 of them were found in an army barrack / barn, slightly rusted. The leather is still in a very good condition. We did not clean the helmets, underneath a very thin skin of oxidation is the original paint still present. The original green / black paint underneath the white is for about 70 % still present, these helmets are worth while a good cleaning. History of the helmet When the process of selecting a suitable helmet began, Still bearing a slight dislike for items of British origin, the tin hats of British design were not at the top of the Free State’s list when it came to choosing a helmet. The French Adrian design was tried and found to be unsatisfactory. Finally, the German M16 design was settled upon and the German Counsel approached. However, because of the provisions in the Treaty of Versailles the Germans were forbidden from exporting military materials including helmets. So, it was back to the Brits, who just happened to find themselves in possession of surplus German helmet manufacturing machinery and, who would be willing to contract for manufacture, (through the auspices of Vickers, Ltd.), of the German Model 1916 style helmets for the Irish Free State government.[2] Thus, the circle seemed complete, and as we shall see in the following evaluation with some interesting results. A total of 10,021 helmets were made for an Irish Free State standing army of 10,000. Intentionally or otherwise, the helmets were made with an inferior quality material. Anyone handling a standard German or Austrian helmet of the Great War period, then handling a Model 27 will easily recognize the difference in weight and feel. The stress lines along the front of the helmet are prominent, and many cracked and became unserviceable during their period of use. One must wonder about motivation, as it had been only a brief period of time since the last British troops left the island. Stranger yet, one must wonder why the Irish Free State was willing to take delivery of helmets that did not standards. Although a review of the army’s history reveals a great deal of controversy over the organization. Funding was also a problem during the period. The official period of use for the M27 was from 1927 to 1939, when a change of heart took place and Tommy’s helmet was adopted. This was no doubt in part due to the events taking place on the continent at that time. While officially a neutral country during the period, a large number of the helmets were painted white and issued to Civil Authorities during WW2. These are the helmets that most often appear on the collector’s market today. They also appear with a black coating of paint, of unidentified origin, over the white. The helmet did not undergo an extensive “trial-by-fire” during its tenure. However, the limited production, attrition due to inferior quality, the wholesale destruction of more than half of the original production (as helmets were bulldozed into the ground in the 1970’s for fill for a new army barracks) by the Irish army,[3] and the subsequent deterioration have all combined to make the Irish M27 one of the more obscure, difficult to find and sought after helmets by the collector. My most sincere thanks to those whose articles and information has been referenced and especially Mike Sullivan.

Because of the very small size it could have been from a small cadett or it might have been a souveneer for a child from one of the officers of the Cruiser Emden. Extremely RARE Belgian WW II Normandy Beachhead Brigade Piron Helmet This is a very hard to find piece of Militaria. An original Belgian forces (Normandy beachhead) 1944 Brigade Piron helmet with an MP decal and Belgian Decal. Helmet is really well marked, inner liner originally attached. The origins of the Piron Brigade are from 1940, among hundreds of Belgian soldiers who managed to flee to Britain in the company of the Belgian government in London. A command of the Belgian Military Camp reunification under the leadership of Lieutenant-General van Strydonk Chevalier de Burkel, was created in Great Britain, Tenby, 25 May 1940, three days before the capitulation of Belgium. A command of the Belgian Military Camp reunification under the leadership of Lieutenant-General van Strydonk Knight Burkel, was created in Great Britain, Tenby, 25 May 1940, three days before the capitulation of Belgium. Lt. Gen. van Strydonk became commander of the Belgian Forces of Great Britain in June 1940 and the same month, the minister called Jaspar all Belgians to join him in Britain to continue fighting. The Lieutenant-General van Strydonk Became commander of the Belgian Forces of Great Britain in June 1940, the same month, the Minister Jaspar calls all Belgians to join him in Britain to continue fighting. End July 1940, found 462 men in the Belgian Forces of Great Britain. The arrival of many Belgians allows the creation of several military units on land. The troops are trained in Great Britain and Canada, and the year 1942 saw the arrival in Scotland of the Major Piron Jean-Baptiste, which rapidly enters the Staff ground forces, and has the mission to improve the training of these troops. The Belgian Forces of Great Britain officially made available to the Allies 4 June 1942, and the end of the year saw the restructuring of land forces with the creation of the Belgian Prime Group, under the command of Major Piron. Training troops is continuing in 1943 and landing exercises are conducted in early 1944. Luxembourg is a unit assigned in March to the Brigade Piron, who becomes Belgo-Luxembourg. Because of the Belgians call the world, we talk thirty-three languages in the brigade in 1944. Landings of 6 June 1944 takes place without the Belgian group, much to the chagrin of 2 200 men who compose it, but the British prefer to book for the liberation of Belgium. Major Piron lobbied the Belgian government in exile, which itself invites the British government to send troops to the Belgian front, the morale of those troops seriously declining. On 29 July 1944, the Belgian group is ordered to be ready to move. The first units arrived 30 July in Normandy, but the bulk of the troops arrived at Arromanches and Courseulles 8 August before the end of the Battle of Normandy. The group is under the command of the 6th British Airborne Division Major General Gale, which depends on the 1 (st)) (Canadian Army. Jean-Baptiste Piron, meanwhile promoted to colonel, makes contact with the British staff, and the Belgian group, who will win in Normandy his nickname "Brigade Piron", received its baptism of fire 9 August. The Belgian troops began their attack 17 August in the Operation Paddle, accompanied by British and Dutch troops. Merville-Franceville-Plage is busy in the evening, Varaville 20 August. The tanks are separated from the rest of the brigade and go with the British. Dives-sur-Mer and Cabourg are taken on the morning of 21 August, Houlgate then in the afternoon. The brigade took Villers-sur-Mer and Deauville 22 August, and Trouville-sur-Mer and Honfleur on the 24th. Tanks rejoin the rest of the brigade 26 August to Foulbecq, the day the Piron Brigade came under command of the 49 ((e)) British division. On 29 August, the brigade crossed the Seine and Le Havre on march the next day. The attack is about to begin when the brigade was withdrawn at the front. On 2 September, the brigade received orders to arrive as quickly as possible to the Belgian border, the British staff intending to make Brussels the next day. The brigade is the dividing 3 September after driving all night and into Brussels the next day, just after the English. The portion of the Piron Brigade in Normandy, on the Côte Fleurie, has left many traces (commemorative steles, names of roads, tombs) and memory alive. The Piron Brigade in Belgium between 3 September and by Rongy in Brussels between 4 September, just behind British troops. During their advance into Belgium, the population in disbelief at the idea of being released by fellow takes sometimes for French Canadians. The Belgian Brigade frees other cities and between the Netherlands 22 September. His campaign in Holland last until 17 November, when she is relieved from the front and left to rest in Leuven. The Piron Brigade returned to the Netherlands between 11 April 1945 and June 1945. In the small Dutch town of Thorn, a bridge named in honor of his release 25 September 1944. Occupation of Germany The Piron Brigade occupies an area of the British zone until 15 December 1945. This helmet was found in Luxemburg and came from a formal Captain of the Brigade Piron. They came from an old German Tailor's stock where we have bought many of collar tabs and shoulder boards. This fantastic pair is made for the German WW II Katholischer (Catholic) Feldbischof (Fieldbishop) Justus Rarkowski (Fieldbishop from 1938 untill 1945). German SS Flemish Volunteer Wolchow Walking Stick This is an extremely RARE item, The Wolchow stick was used in the front line by SS units, they were produced by Russian prisoners of War which were captured by the SS units. These sticks apear once in a while, but in this case quite exeptionel because it is a FLEMISH WAFFEN SS Volunteer one. This guy has seen all the frontlines. WOLCHOW, LENINGRAD and SABLINO, 1941, 1942 and 1943 which is quite exeptional. The stick is in a very good condition, some minor woodwurm (wood is yet protected against it right now). Very well craftmanship, with carvings of the Swastica, Flemish Lion, front line names, dates etc. etc. A beautifull and unique piece of history!!!

This Air Raid box with medical equipment was ment for large wounded animals such as cows, horses, sheeps etc. which could be wounded during the air raids in Nazi Germany. They were supplied by the Luftschutz orginization and could be bought by Pharmacies. The box has still all of it's paint and texture, all metal grips and hinges in a good condition. Well labeled in the inside with a list of contens. All original equipment is still present and untouched / full, unused. Every part comes from the same manufacturer and is accordingly marked and dated 1940. A very nice historic display item.

These grenades are made in the form of glass flasks. Model 2H includes an inner glass tube filled with a solution of calcium chloride. The body of each grenade is filled with titanium tetrachloride which vaporizes, upon contact with the air. The calcium chloride permits the second model to operate at low relative humidity, whereas the first model produces a thin fog unless the air is quite moist. Both models discharge upon impact with any hard object. Overall length 4.8 ins. Maximum diameter 2 1/2 ins. Total weight 17 ozs. German WW II Armoured Vehicle Mount MG 34/42 Ammo Case We were lucky enough to fid a couple of these Rare M36 Ammo Cases as to be used for the MG 34/42 for a hundred fifty round ammunition belt in armoured vehicles. These were found in Germany recently, the formal owner used them in a car workshop / garage where they used them for spare bolts. Very hard to find. Well maker marked and dated. Original paint still present.

They were removed in 1945 by a local farmer which used those upto a small while ago to plave the road to his farm. After digging them out, these blokkade's segments were in a fine condition. Each segment (you need 6 to build one), weighs 220 Kilograms per piece, so 1320 Kilo's in total. Sorry we don't shipp 'em, pick up only! We have 40 complete one's available.

German WW II Fallschirmjager Tunic part 1 An extremely Rare Tunic of the Luftwaffe Fallschirmjager and / or Hermann Goring Felddivision units. The eagle is a Jump smock eagle and is originally attached. The colour of this tunic is typical for the HG Felddivision or HG-FJ regiment. Usualy the white backing underneath the gulls was left away by the HG Division. This jacket is not a post war repainted one, have a look at the loops of the shoulderboards (green), and a close look at the (white) stiching. This tunic is a very special item indeed in a worn but good condition for a true Luftwaffe collector.

German WW II Fu.51 (lanternen) transit box This is an unusual transit box to find, I have only ever seen 2 of these boxes in all the years I have been collecting. Practically all the original text is still present on the sides. The box has some wear as can be seen in the photo's and a couple of the aluminium partitions have been removed. There is a lovely maker mark and date (emt 41) as well as an eagle and swastika on the lid. The contents of the box Should be 2 carbide lamps and the hard to find spares box with contents.The box its the only example I know of for sale. Its definitely one of the rarer items. German WW II General's Belt complete A Great catch! recently showed up in France this time, a wonderfull German General's belt complet with it's shoulder strap and its dagger / sword loop. All loops of this belt (4 of them) belong to the same belt and cannot be removed, 3 of them have the same gold wash as the zweidorn belt buckle. The leather has a very nice chocolate brown colour and is very supple. High quality metal finishing, hinging and stich working. The belt has a very luxury interior, please have a look at the pictures. This is realy a beautifull example. We could have put this on sale seperatly, but it would have been a shame to separate this great ensamble. RARE !!!

German WW II Heeres Atmer Rare German Heeres Atmer in a very good condition. Only 20.000 were produced !!!. This one is complete with the mask, the mask has even its pouch which is never there. Very reasonable priced! The Heeresatmer (HA) (Army Breathing Apparatus) was a self-contained oxygen breathing apparatus seemingly developed from a series of sets manufactured by Dräger. Visually and mechanically quite similar to the Dräger Modell 1923 and the Modell 160 apparatuses, the HA entered German Army service early in 1937. Despite its military name, the Heeresatmer was also used by various civilian organisations, but could find their sets being requisitioned by the army should the need arise: "All German fire brigades and A.R.P. [civil defence] organizations, private and municipal, are forbidden by law to purchase any other than the Heeresatmer and must in fact lay in a certain number, according to their strength, so that the army has a reserve to fall back on. It was reliably estimated in 1939 that the number supplied to the army was about 20,000." The HA was issued for use in atmospheres where an ordinary filter respirator was insufficient, namely in confined spaces with a deficiency of oxygen, in very high concentrations of toxic air or in the presence of poison gas that filters could not protect against. The danger of such atmospheres was such that German regulations specified that the Heeresatmer was to be "always used with two, preferably three men, each similarly equipped" in case one of the team was injured or his apparatus failed for whatever reason.

German WW II K98k Rubber Muzzle Cover (Rohrmundung Kappe) The K98k Came accompanied with accessary items including a protective muzzle cover, the first covers were made out of steel but were impractible, before firing the cap had to be removed first. With the introduction of the rubber muzzle cover which could be shot of in the case of immidiate use, the manufacture of the earlier steel covers was discontinued. Please note, these covers are a 100% ORIGINAL and not the post war ones as to be found and offered on ebay. Painted on the Tragebusche (inside and outside). It is comple with the cleaning cloth and spring, also with 3 sets of klarscheiben. The Trageriemen have all the (leather) Vorkriegeverschluss 1938 (3 of them from top to bottom !!!) all original paint is still present. The mask is well waffenamt marked and "M" marked, MINT condition. Cannister MINT +++++ as well. A great find. This piece was picked up in Ostend at the Belium coastline.

It is in a working condition, winding it up, touching the both poles with your hands will give you another hairstyle ( the 500 Volt kind of one), but isn't going to kill you (low Amperage). All is in a very good condition, complete with it's sling, power schedule and leather carrying strap. Very well Kriegsmarine marked, dated 1944 and ink stamped. Please note, it's not a small tiny piece of equipment, it weighs about 3,5 KG.

In the name of Gleichschaltung, the Kyffhäuserbund was nazified after the Nazi takeover of power in 1933. Five years later, its name was altered to "NS-Reichskriegerbund 'Kyffhäuser' e.V." (Nationalsocialist Reich Warriors Association 'Kyffhäuser'), becoming the sole and exclusive organization representing the Veterans' interests in the Third Reich. The Kyffhäuserbund was swiftly and unceremoniusly disbanded during the Second World War, in March 1943, by Adolf Hitler himself. Apparently the reason was the German defeat in the Battle of Stalingrad. Its assets in the whole Reich were transferred to the NSDAP. All its surviving local associations, which in the last phase of the war effort became the breeding ground for Volkssturm units, were also placed under the direct orders of the Nazi Party.

This is the Handkammer HK 12.5 / 7x9, which bares the codename GXN. Complete in it's case, it's list of contents and the 2 colour filters orange and red. The bottom of the case is quite damaged, but nevertheless a very nice and complete set. Case is well marked with the luftwaffe BAL stamp. The leather strap from the camera is still present. A very nice piece. The Swedish company Hasselblad used this camera to develop their famous cameras.

German WW II Not gasmaske RARE !!! This is a very very Rare German WW II Not gasmaske (emergancy gas mask), called " pig snout". It is in a very good condition, the last one I have found was in a very hard condition, these are still in a very flexible condition (so they don't break if you add them on to the filter). They were used for crews who couldn't carry their gasmask carrying case while doing their duty. Think of panzer crews etc. This small snout gave the first protection for a gas attack in order to save some time to get reach to the real and complete gasmask. They were worn in the so called "spare gas mask carrying case" as be worn on the belt. We were lucky enough to buy a small lot of 6 of these. This offer is for the snout only and not for the filter !!!, However we do have some mint condition filter's for sale on our website. The price is off course per piece. German WW II Nurnberg eagle This is a GREAT and original time document. This Nurenberg Eagle by Kurt Schmid Ehmen came from the City of Doberlug-Kirchhain in former Eastern Germany. It was found there recently when they tore down an old building. Probably belonged to one of the local heads of government or other state organisation. Hard to tell. The original marble base is missing, but it has been refitted on a nice tall wooden collum, which makes it a great display item for any collection. The dimensions are: 138mm x 149 mm (Total height with the stand is 370mm)

German WW II Panzer Gurtsack 34 We have an Extremely Rare Gurtsack 34 up for sale here. These were used by German Panther and Tiger tanks for their MG 34's. In stead of ammo boxes they used these bags for the 150 round ammo belts. It is in a very nice and a complete condition, very nice 3 letter code maker marked and dated 1943. The closure strap is broken but still present and easely to restore (please see pictures). The metal lid and hinge are in a great condition. An extremely RARE item which is very HARD to find !!!!

German WW II Panzer Lehr Division Sturmgeschutz Tunic, STUG Wrapper Part 1 from 3 This extremely Rare jacket is in a beautifull condtion, no motting what so ever. It shows wear, some time repairs. Complete with all of it's buttons and straps. Really well maker marked. All insignia are originally attached. Please have a look at the pictures, I have made them lifesize for a good overview. These days it is practically impossible to find a tunic as this, especially from this division and in this condition, it's far easier to find an SS Panzer wrap. These pictures will speak for themselves, just have a look! The Panzer-Lehr-Division, commonly known as Panzer Lehr, was a German armored division during World War II, one of the most elite units in the entire German Wehrmacht Heer. It was formed in 1943 from various units of elite training and demonstration troops (Lehr = "teach") stationed in Germany, to provide additional armored strength for resisting the anticipated Allied invasion of western Europe. Its great weakness was that it concentrated the cream of Germany's tank commanders/instructors in a single unit. Due to its elite status it was lavishly equipped in comparison to the ordinary Panzer divisions, though on several occasions it fought almost to destruction, in particular during Operation Cobra. Panzer Lehr began forming at Potsdam in November 1943 and moved to the Nancy–Verdun area in January 1944 to complete the process. It was formed from several elite training and demonstration units. Most of the division's original cadre was drawn from Panzertruppenschule I and Panzertruppenschule II, the Panzerwaffe's major training units. These training and demonstration units were some of the most experienced and highly trained troops in the Panzerwaffe, with almost all having seen combat in the East, North Africa, Sicily or Italy and many having received decorations for bravery. As a result of this, Panzer Lehr was considered an elite unit from the time of its formation. It is full of letters and documents from practically all German leaders of importance. This book was most propably used in Occupied France in Governement departments such as the ministry of inner / foreign affairs etc.

German WW II Political Kreis Level Bandsman's Brown Shirt The shirt is an approx. size 36 and is made of light weight, ribbed, tan, cotton twill material. The long sleeve shirt features a vertical, five button front closure with a lay down collar. The shirt has two, pleated, patch, breast pockets with scalloped button down flaps. The waistband has numerous, small, vertical, tapering darts, a vertical, cotton, belt loop to the reverse center and six, evenly spaced, sewn on, brass, pebbled, belt support hooks. The straight cut, nonadjustable, long sleeves have two, small, vertical, tapering darts, fold back, French cuffs and a small, vertical, outside seam slash with a dual, linked, button/cufflink closures. The unlined interior of the shirt has a light weight, ribbed, white cotton twill reinforcement panel to the upper back panel and the waistband. The waistband features the woven maker's tag "BP." The inside right breast features an inside pocket. The top front and waist closure buttons are the tan Bakelite type. The gilt washed, pebbled, buttons all feature an embossed early, left facing, political style, national eagle with outstretched wings, clutching a static swastika in it's talons, and are held in place via a metal ring. The collar features a set of machine stitched, Kreis level collar tabs. the tabs are made of brown velvet, and are piped with black wool. Each shoulder features a sew-in musician's wing, or "swallow's nest" the wings are made of brown velvet, and are trimmed with golden brocade tress. The left sleeve features a multi piece, cotton party armband, which has been stitched to the sleeve. The left breast features a set of three parade mount medal loops, for a six medal bar. The shirt is in overall very good condition with light age from use. RARE !

German WW II Propaganda Aereal Leaflet We were lucky enough to find a nice lot of a few different types of original German WW II RARE Propaganda Aereal Leaflets. Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS Propagandakompanie (Public Relations Companies) were the equivalent of American War Correspondents, taking photographs and reporting on the activities of troops in war zones and rear echelon areas. They had nothing to do with propaganda in the American sense of the word and they were not responsible for these propaganda leaflets. What Americans think of as propaganda was the business of German Psychological Warfare Units, and that was not an armed forces or Wehrmacht function in Nazi Germany. It was a far more serious matter. The thrust of the propaganda contained in the leaflets aimed at American fighting men was to take him out of combat - get him to surrender, defect, or end up in a hospital, so he wasn’t fighting Germans. The German used delivery systems similar to those used by the Americans. Propaganda leaflets were rolled up in artillery shells and exploded over American positions, they were dropped by aircraft, and they were simply left where Americans would find them. The Nazi Psychological Warfare propaganda leaflets we offer here are ORIGINALS and were picked up on battlefields in Europe during World War II by American GIs. All are very rare today. With the German Army Invasion of the Soviet Union the German Army and the Waffen SS encountered large segments of the non-ethnic Russian populance that greeted them as liberators. The German commanders in the Field quickly saw the advantage of utilizing these willing personall in non-combat roles. As the result of manpower restrictions the german army and the Waffen SS began emplying non-ethnic Russian POW's and volunteer laborers, drivers, supplie personnel etc. When in corporated into service with the Waffen SS, these non-uniformed civilian auxiliary personnel were issued an identifying armband to be worn the upper left sleeve.

German WW II Siemens Schweres Rontgengerat in Kasten fur Heeres-zwecke Extremely Rare German X-Ray Machine to be used in large Field hospitals in 4 large Transport cases. Siemens built only 75 of them. This one has turned up in a Polish hospital some years ago and is the only one up for sale in the world. I guess only a few of them have survived the war, and especially remained complete as a set. The entire set contains out of 4 wooden crates with it's contence. All with it's original paint and texture. It comes together with a detailed copy of the invoice from siemens from 1942 which contains over 20 pages of information. If you are the Sanitater collector out there who wants to have something special no one else has, this is THE opportunity to get one for a reasonable price. Before ordering this item, please keep in mind that we need to discuss some logistics first, since the dimensions of the large crates are 1.65 M x 0.55 M x 0.35 and the weight of the heaviest crate is 140 KG !!!.

They describe the world travel of the Emden which took place from 1926 to 1927, this entire trip took 2 years!. There is also a book published of this world trip in those days. Please find the description of this entire lot in the following add. Please find here under some information of the Emden. The German light cruiser Emden was the only ship of its class. The third cruiser to bear the name Emden was the first new warship built in Germany after World War I. Ordered in 1921, construction was delayed first by Allied objections to the design and then by the German hyperinflation in 1923. The original design envisaged the eight 6-inch (152 mm) guns being installed in four twin-turrets and would have made Emden one of the most advanced cruisers of her time. But the Treaty of Versailles forbade Germany the development of new weapons, including new turrets. Like most navies, the German navy had never before used twin-turrets for such small guns. All previous designs were for 8 inch or larger guns and were too heavy for a 6000-ton cruiser as allowed by the Treaty. This forced a redesign of the ship with the guns placed in 8 less effective single-gun turrets, making Emden look very similar to her WWI predecessors. The ship was finally launched on 6 January 1925 and commissioned on 15 October 1925. Used primarily as a training vessel, Emden made several cruises into the Atlantic, Pacific and Mediterranean between 1926 and 1939. For a time, until his promotion to Captain and transfer to the 1st U-boat flotilla in 1935, Emden was commanded by Karl Dönitz, who recalled the cruises in his autobiography, Memoirs: Ten Years and Twenty Days. On 4 September 1939, following the outbreak of World War II, the ship was damaged in a British air raid on Wilhelmshaven: a Bristol Blenheim bomber was hit by AA-fire and crashed into the foreship of Emden, killing the first 9 German sailors of World War II. By a strange coincidence the British pilot's name was Flying Officer H. L. Emden.After repairs Emden participated in laying minefields in the North Sea for much of 1939. During the invasion of Norway (Operation Weserübung) Emden was part of the ill-fated Kriegsschiffgruppe 5, tasked with taking Oslo. Emden spent the rest of the war in the Baltic Sea, mostly on training cruises. From January 1945 on she helped evacuate German troops and civilians from East Prussia to northern Germany and Denmark. On one of these trips, she also brought back the coffins of former German President Paul von Hindenburg and his wife. In the night from 9 April to 10 April 1945 Emden was severely damaged in an air attack at Kiel. She was towed with a 15° list into the Heikendorfer Bucht and beached there on 14 April. The ship was decommissioned on 26 April 1945, scuttled on 3 May and scrapped after the war. Original Dish from the LZ-127 the Graf Zeppelin An extremely Rare on-board restaurant dish from the famouse Airship LZ-127 Graf Zeppelin!!! The most successful zeppelin ever built, LZ-127 Graf Zeppelin flew more than a million miles on 590 flights, carrying over 34,000 passengers without a single injury. During its nine year career, Graf Zeppelin made the first commercial passenger flight across the Atlantic, the first commercial passenger flight around the world, flew a scientific mission over the North Pole, made the first regularly scheduled transatlantic passenger crossings by air, and aroused intense public enthusiasm around the globe. The Graf Zeppelin was recruited as a tool of Nazi propaganda remarkably soon after the National Socialist takeover of power in early 1933. Only three months after Adolf Hitler’s appointment as chancellor, the Propaganda Ministry ordered Graf Zeppelin to fly over Berlin as part of the government’s May 1, 1933 celebration of the “Tag de Nationalen Arbeit,” the Nazi version of the May Day celebration of labor. Later in May, 1933, Graf Zeppelin flew to Rome in connection with Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels’ first official meeting with the fascist government of Italy; Goebbels invited Italian Air Minister Italo Balbo to join him on a flight over Rome. RARE Dutch Napoleonic Cuirass Man. 1829 A complete cuirass, with the beltstrap (practically allways missing) and both of the shoulderstraps, one of the leather shoulderstraps is loose on the top, but this can be easely repaired. Uncleaned condition. These cuirasses are showing up now and then, but not with the highly wanted and search for Dutch V-Markings. In those days Napoleon the 3th (the brother of Napoleon Bonaparte) was ruling over the Netherlands and had Dutch volunteer Cuiraseers to his possesion, but only a hand full. A rare item, very decorative and a very good investment for the future. Both parts, the front and the back plate are very well marked, dated and engraved Klingenthal (which was in those days the Solingen of France).

Cannister complete with it's klarscheiben, practically all orginal paint still present, the straps of the cannister are dated 1940. These masks are Rare and hard to find.

RARE German WW II Army instruction plate A very Rare and original German Army Instruction plate made out of heavy paper in order to instruct the German soldiers in recognizing allied army troops. This instruction plate was made in 1941 after the occupation of Western Europe. This drawing represents soldiers from all allied western army's such as: Brithish officers and enlisted men, Homeguard, coastal guard, bycicle troops, French, Chech, Polish, Dutch, Scottish, Canadian, Australian, New Zealander and Indian. Propably they still had the idea back in 1941 that the French and Dutch troops were still using their own style helmets. A very nice original decorative piece what could fit into any collection !

Rare Letter of Prisoner 7599 Concentrationkamp Auschwitz 1943 This is a true history document, an original letter of an Auschwitz prisoner from blok 25a from camp Auschwitz written in 1943, very well readable written in German. Really well marked. The Standard regulations of the camp commander are printed on the envelope: Concentration Camp Auschwitz Mailing with camp prisoners is subjected to the following prescriptions: 1. Every protective-custody-captive is allowed to send or to receive two letters or postcards from his relatives. Letters sent to prisoners must be written clearly and with ink, and must have a maximum of 15 lines per page. Only one piece of normal sized notepaper is permitted. Lined envelopes are not allowed. Including more than five 12 Pfg-stamps in the envelope is not allowed. Including everything else is forbidden will be seized. Postcards have 10 lines. It is not allowed to use photographs as postcards. 2. It is permitted to send money to the prisoners. 3. All consignments must carry the correct address, which means name, date of birth and number of the prisoner. If the address is not correct, the mail will either be returned to sender or destroyed. 4. Newspapers are permitted, but can be ordered only via the postal service of the Concentration Camp Auschwitz. 5. The sending of parcels is not allowed, because the prisoners can buy everything in the camp. 6. Sending release from protective-custody requests to the camp board is useless. 7. Scarce out-of-print reference book: 'Uniforms of the SS' - Volume 2: Germanische SS 1940-1945' by Andrew Mollo - nice, almost mint condition! This is a very nice (almost mint!) example of the scarce out-of-print reference book: 'Uniforms of the SS' - Volume 2: 'Germanische SS 1940-1945' by Andrew Mollo. In my personal opion are these books still the best reference guides on the subject matter. This book was the fifth volume of a small series of seven, that was published in the seventies (1971). The book is in nice, only slightly used, condition. This fairly large format book (27,5 x 21 cms.) has 55 pages. It is full of very interesting information - in English - and illustrations on the various uniforms and insignia of this organisation.

SS spring kosh This is an SS "SiPo" (Sicherheitspolizei) maker marked spring kosh with leather hand strap. This is a view of the kosh extended to its full length of 15-1/2 inches. It is 6-1/2 inches closed for carry. The condition is generally near excellent. The end cap is tight and maker marked. This is a scarce piece, and difficult to find in any condition.

Third Reich Nazi Ahnenpass In a very good condition this complete and used Nazi Ahnenpass, full of family names and stamps. The Ahnenpass (literally ancestor passport) documented the Aryan lineage of citizens of Nazi Germany. The investigation for lineage was not obligatory as it was a major undertaking to research the original documents for birth and marriage. Many Nazi followers had already begun to research their lineage even before law required it (soon after the NSDAP took power on 30 January 1933).Contrary to popular belief, the Ahnenpass was not public record - the document was shown where required and returned to the bearer. The term Aryan in this context was formally referencing Indo-Germanic tribes but the primary objective was to eliminate Jews from all high positions in German society. The requirements for Aryan descent differ among the different laws that were issued in Nazi times - the Reichserbhofgesetz (farmer land heritage law) notably required 100% for the lineage back to 1800 just as higher positions in the SS demanded a "pure" Aryan lineage back to 1750.

History: The 10th Flotilla was founded on 15 Jan 1942, under the command of Kptlt. Günther Kuhnke (Knights Cross). Its history ended in August 1944 when the last boats left Lorient in France for Norway. 80 U-Boats assigned to this flotilla durin its services. Most of the 80 U-Boats were sunk in battle.

VERY RARE Napoleonic 19th Century Plumet A very very hard to find White original Napoleonic Plumet as used on shako's, helmets and chapeau's in the Napoleon Empire. In a MINT and unissued condition. These plumes were used for and by: 1791/1815 MAISON DU ROI (RARE PERIOD), for Casque (helmets), Chapeaux de Mosquetaire (musceteer hats and helmets), GARDE ROYALE 1817 Grenadier, Fusilier, Sappeur. 1815/1830 Shako/Casque/Chapeau Period 1791/1815 Carabiniers, Trompette: Lanciers, Chasseurs, Dragons. A very hard to get item to complete your headwear.

Very rare U-boat handmade anbord cap bages/emblems !!! U-boat insignias and emblems where popularly sported by U-boat crews during the war. Emblems and insignias were an expression of individualism or they could also somtimes be representative of som sort of feature of meaning connected to their boat. Propaganda and superstitious influence also came into play, with some sporting the clover for good luck, or cupid for a good shot. Befor the war, U-boat numerals were painted in large white letters about 1,5 meters tall on the conning tower. At the outbreak of war, however, these numeral markings were discontinued and all boats were painted an overall neutral gray in order to keep the enemy guessing baout the deployment of the U-boat force. It didn't take long however, befor U-boat crews began adopting insignias and emblems as a means of self expression and individualism. In addition to U-Boat emblems, each graduating class from U-Boat academy also chose an emblem. The crew of 1936 chose the Olympic Rings, in reference to the 1936 Olympic Games in Munich. Even U-Boat Flotillas had emblems. The 7th Flotilla adopted the snorting bull after Gunther Prien's boat while the 9th Flotilla had the laughing sawfish as its emblem. However, not all boats had emblems, while some boats had more than one emblem. With the advent of the true submarine, such as the Types XXI and XXIII, which spent most of their time underwater, these boats rarely surfaced and thus together with it, the colorful naval tradition of the U-Boat insignias began to fade out.

Waffen SS "Lebensborn" Childrens partybag Was given to Lebensborn children on a julfest and stuffed with candy etc. Lebensborn (Fount of Life, in antiquated German) was a Nazi organization set up by SS leader Heinrich Himmler, which provided maternity homes and financial assistance to the wives of SS members and to unmarried mothers, and which also ran orphanages and relocation programmes for children. Initially set up in Germany in 1935, Lebensborn expanded into occupied countries in western and northern Europe during the Second World War. In line with the racial and eugenic policies of Nazi Germany, the Lebensborn programme was restricted to individuals who were deemed to be "biologically fit" and "racially pure", "Aryans", and to SS members. In occupied countries, thousands of women facing social ostracism because they were in relationships with German soldiers and had become pregnant, had few alternatives other than applying for help with Lebensborn.

Waffen-SS tropical sleeve-eagle in BeVo weave A mint and unissued Waffen-SS tropical sleeve-eagle in BeVo weave. The eagle is in absolutely mint, unissued condition. The eagle is executed in golden-yellow cotton on black cotton. These arm-eagles were also worn on the M44 'Dot-pattern' camouflaged, 4-pocket-tunics. A nice example which is getting also hard to get in this condition.
